4. Hacker can actually get your Street address from your local friends who are added in your list.

Hacking is a term used to refer to activities aimed at exploiting securty flaws to obtain critical information for gaining access to secured networks. Hacking is something more than the usually thought 'hit and trial' method of matching Username and Password combinations.
Hacking involves the use of advanced software (scripts) to try and gain access into secure networks. A secure network (server) address always begins with 'https://' instead of the common 'http://'.

Vulnerability of secured networks is much less than unsecured networks and hackers usually target high-value targets; just like robbers would target a big multinational bank instead of a local money lender.

THE REAL TERM HACKING refers to an 'ART'. It is an art which defines and allows the knowledge of a user to speak his mind. It was a term which was associated with the guys who knew almost everything about the computer in the late 60's. Gradually the reputation of the hackers deteriorated as there were some illegal uses of the knowledge. So in mid 80's, these guys who exploited their knowledge in wrong direction were classified to another name as CRACKERS. So the hackers are gud people who help to secure one's system/server/ etc,,, etc... So hacking term is associated with gud people and cracking term is associated with bad people.
